Hindahls Cross \| Lippspringer Forest

Kruzifix im Lippspringer Wald, umgeben von dichten Bäumen, mit einem Grabstein im Hintergrund.

Romantically framed by tall ash and chestnut trees, Hindahl's cross commemorates the death of a young girl from the nearby Dumberghof farm.

 The cross was donated by Bernhard Hindahl in 1886. On the original cadastral map, the adjoining wooded area bears the name "Am Großen Gott"; even today, the site of the cross is called "Am grauten Guot" in Low German.
