The graffiti wall "Busdorfgalerie" is a very special project. Normally, it is in the nature of every wall to create boundaries and separate people from one another. Here, on the other hand, it has succeeded in creating an open meeting place in the heart of Paderborn. The initiative came from the Superior General of the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul in Paderborn, Katharina Mock, in April 2018. She called on graffiti artists from the city and region to design the monastery wall and thus gave the starting signal for the Paderborn "East Side Gallery". In good weather, new works can be admired here every week, and there is always time for a quick chat with the artists. A wall does not necessarily have to be torn down to preserve freedom. There are usually plenty of parking spaces there. Tip: Buy a reasonably priced day ticket!
