The W3 hiking trail in Büren-Weine combines quiet sections of the Alme with a short detour to the town of Büren and open field passages.

 From the Schützenhalle, first follow the footpath and cycle path parallel to Talstraße before the path turns left over the bridge. It then runs parallel to the Alme, past Gut Holthausen to Büren. There you cycle through the Alme meadows for a while and continue along the "Wassergraben" road into the town. At the traffic circle, follow Barkhäuser Straße, then turn right into Siddinghäuser Straße and leave Büren again.
