The W4 hiking trail in Büren-Wewelsburg combines historical sites, open countryside and the River Alme to create a varied circular tour.

 Start at the hiking board in the center of the village. First head south along Lange Straße, then turn right into Knick Straße. The trail leads past the Wewelsburg memorial site and once around the castle. Cross the Alme in the valley and continue along the path before crossing the K37.
