**Getting there**

Take the A 33, exit Halle (Westf.), continue on the bypass in the direction of Werther. Before the hotel/restaurant "Grünwalde", turn left onto Wertherstraße. After approx. 50 m you will find the hiking parking lot on the left on Wertherstraße.

Pack some provisions, as you can only stop for refreshments at the start or finish of your hike, the newly built Hotel Grünwalde.

Another nearby place to stop for a bite to eat is the Rossini restaurant on the golf course.
