This circular cycle route takes you along the Alme cycle path via Brenken and Ahden to Wewelsburg, where you have the opportunity to visit Wewelsburg Castle, Germany's only triangular castle. Read more Good to know ------------ Best to visit suitable Depends on weather - Jan - Feb - Mar - Apr - May - Jun - Jul - Aug - Sep - Oct - Nov - Dec Directions The starting point is the Liebfrauengymnasium in Büren, from where the Alme Cycle Path or Kaiser Route takes you via Brenken and Ahden to Wewelsburg Castle. You should not miss out on a visit to Wewelsburg Castle here. The route continues uphill over the two Alme bridges towards the airport. At Hellweg (K 37), turn left and cycle past the airport and Fortsthaus Krug. Approx. 500 m after Forsthaus Krug, you can turn left towards Steinhausen. Once there, turn right onto Bürener Straße and follow the signs to Eickhoff. On the L 747, cross the Hellweg and come to Weine. There you turn left at Knickberg and rejoin the Alme cycle path, which takes you back to Büren via Gut Holthausen. Read more Route markings This tour does not have its own waymarking.
