 Haller Stadtwald is a place full of history(s).
Many generations have left their mark here:

- around 1800: Landscape park of the Hagedorn merchant family
- around 1900: "Promenade place" of the city of Halle (Westf.)
- around 1940: site for Hitler Youth combat games

A signposted walk through the forest takes you to the sites of great history in miniature - from the Age of Enlightenment to National Socialism.
